Thank you

The willingness with which our young people are likely to serve in any war, no matter how justified, shall be directly proportional to how they perceive the veterans of earlier wars were treated and appreciated by their nation.
-George Washington November 10, 1781

Here are some ways to display appreciation and recognize those who protect our freedoms.

Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation

USO

Wounded Warrior Project

Soldiers Angels

Operation Gratitude

This is hardly an exhaustive list, so if you don’t see an organization you can support – go and find one you can.

  1. There is also the Blue and Gold Star families. The Blue Star registry is for immediate relative of someone who is serving or has served. The Gold Star is for families who lost an immediate relative while in the service of our country. Military Families United is a not-for-profit coalition of blue and gold star families along with other patriotic organizations seeking to honor our present and past servicemen and women.
